Thomas D. Peebles, Jr. of CECB is Elected to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel

Springfield, Mo. - Thomas D. Peebles, Jr., a shareholder of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB"), has been elected a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel at its Fall meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel is a national association of more than 2,600 lawyers who have made outstanding contributions to the field of trust and estate law.

Mr. Peebles is the author of several publications and is a frequent speaker on several estate planning topics. He is a member and past President of the Greene County Estate Planning Council, and currently serves on the Probate and Trust Committees of the Missouri Bar and Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.

Mr. Peebles practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and probate. Mr.Peebles earned his B.S. from Southwest Missouri State University and his J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1977 and 1980, respectively.

CECB is a locally owned law firm formed in 1979 with emphasis in tax, estate planning, employee benefits, commercial litigation, environmental, probate, real estate, banking, corporate, zoning, franchise, and securities law. The firm currently has 15 attorneys and 26 other staff.
