CECB Merges with The Law Offices of Russell W. Cook & opens branch office in Branson, MO

Springfield, Mo. - The law firm of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. (CECB") is pleased to announce its merger with The Law Offices of Russell W. Cook, Esq., and the opening of its new Branson, Missouri office. The Branson office, located at 3027 W. Highway 76, Suite B, will give CECB an opportunity to bring its entire array of legal services to the Branson area.
Mr. Cook, who will become Of Counsel to the firm, graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a master of laws degree in taxation, and received his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville. His practice involves the development of mixed-use real estate projects, condominium and resort developments, retail shopping centers, and large financing transactions. Cook is also engaged in corporate and partnership formation and tax planning. Prior to maintaining his own practice, Cook was general counsel for Branson-based Grandvista Resorts and HCW Development Company and formerly practiced law with Lewis, Rice & Fingersh in Kansas City, Mo. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Arkansas and Kansas.
CECB is a locally owned law firm formed in 1979 with emphasis in tax, estate planning, employee benefits, commercial litigation, environmental, probate, real estate, banking, corporate, zoning, franchise, and securities law. The firm currently has 16 attorneys and 27 other staff.
