Springfield, Mo. - Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C. ("CECB") is pleased to announce that Joseph D. "Chip" Sheppard, III has received the President's Award from the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. The recipient of the award is selected in recognition of extraordinary service to the Bar Association and the legal profession. Mr. Sheppard, a Shareholder of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown, P.C., concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, business, securities and intellectual property litigation, dispute resolution and transactions.
Mr. Sheppard received his bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and his law degree in 1983 from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Sheppard was also recently named a 2008 finalist for Lawyer of the Year by Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
