Andrew K. Bennett

Biography

Prior to joining CECB, Mr. Bennett was President and CEO of The Tenere Group, Inc., a holding company for Intermed Insurance Company and Interlex Insurance Company in Springfield. Before taking the President/CEO position, he served as the company's General Counsel and Vice President of Claims.

Mr. Bennett's community involvement has included serving on the local community Boards of the American Cancer Society, the Hospice of Southwest Missouri, Lakes County Rehabilitation Center, and Hickory Hills Country Club.

Mr. Bennett received his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in 1974 and his law degree in 1977 from the University of Tulsa School of Law. Mr. Bennett is a member of the Missouri Bar Health and Hospital Law Committee and served as Chairman of the Medical-Legal Relations Committee.
